Banana French Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 medium – banana

  • 7 large – egg

  • 3/4 cup – milk

  • 1/3 cup – Ravine's Edge Pure Maple Syrup

  • 1/4 cup – butter, unsalted

  • 1 tablespoon – vanilla extract

  • 2 teaspoon – cinnamon

  • 12 slice – bread, whole wheat

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 inch pan.

  2. Place bananas in a large bowl and use a fork to mash well.

  3. Add eggs, milk, syrup, melted butter, vanilla and cinnamon. Whisk to combine.

  4. Cut the bread into cubes and add to the bowl; gently fold to coat. Spread evenly into your baking dish. Alternately, you can leave the bread in slices, lay in the pan, and pour the egg mixture over it.

  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until cooked through.

  6. Serve warm with fresh banana slices and maple syrup!
