Flax French Toast

Serves: 4


  • 4 Eggs

  • 2 tablespoons ground Flax meal

  • 1/2 teaspoons almond extract

  • 4 slices whole grain bread

  1. Mix eggs, flax meal, and almond extract in a shallow bowl.

  2. Dip whole wheat bread into mixture and soak both sides of bread.

  3. Remove from bowl and place on a griddle.

  4. Cook both sides until egg is no longer runny and the bread is golden brown.

  5. Serve with fresh fruit and Ravine's Edge pure maple syrup.
